Hiya Guys, that time of the year has come again.... it's the Cannes Film Festival. This is the place where everyone tries to outdo themselves and some manange to do so. These are the outfits.

Pretty as a princess: Eva Longoria looked beautiful in a dress that wouldn't have looked out of place in Disney's Frozen, the pale minty blue gown crafted out of lace before falling down into a full skirt, underneath a sweet bow detail on the waist

Silver stunner: Karlie covered her long and lean figure in a loose-fitting shimmering Tom Ford dress that skimmed lightly over her curves, also showing off her side-boob as she posed this way and that at the amfAR Gala

Making a statement: The 24-year-old singer oozed old-school Hollywood glamour in the cleverly crafted dress, as she once again made sure her best feature - her shapely legs - were on display

If it ain't broke...: Singer Charli XCX pulled off her statement 'hand on the hip' pose as she showed off her lovely black Vivienne Westwood gown, complemented by her deep red lipstick and smokey eye... and smouldering look

Green with envy? Model Irina Shayk divided opinion in her emerald coloured gown by Atelier Versace that included several patches of very sheer fabric, as well as a figure-hugging bustier-style top and satin panels

Typically terrific: Showing off her world-famous hourglass curves, Dita Von Teese looked as unique, retro and fashion-forward as usual in perhaps the most eye-catching look of the night

Ravishing in red: Model Doutzen Kroes made quite the statement in a shapeless but stunning scarlet gown by Margiela, which included a sweet bow across the back

Serious wow-factor: Chanel Iman went all-out in an oversized tan-coloured gown that included a deep plunging neckline and delicate petal-like white embellishments encrused across the bodice, sleeves and fluttering down the epic skirt

Pretty in purple: Actress Aishwarya Rai (left) and socialite Paris Hilton (right) almost matched in their lovely lilac gowns, each of them heavily embellished with full skirts

Diaphanous delight: Anja Rubik was certainly no wallflower as she arrived for the amfAR Gala on Thursday evening, looking brilliant in a bold, blue and big dress that stole the show
